Bills hold off Texans in Houston. They are going to be very tough to beat next week with 0-2 and back to back home losses staring them in the face. Huge hurdle for the Cats.
You guys are going go be severely disappointed at the team they've put together this year. Severely disappointed. - Joe Bananas 8/18/2025

DC is back! Long time...
Good win. Shouldn't have been this close tho.

Re: Cats v Bucs Game Thread
Paul Dehner summed it up well:
Cincy's new-look defense created chaos (along with 4 turnovers). The under center offense proved effective. The offseason theme of finishing better saw the game end in Burrow taking a knee.
The Bengals are 1-0 and brought the vision to life.

Good to hear, thanks Skykidney.skycruiser wrote: ↑Sun Sep 13, 2026 5:58 pmOverall the D was fantastic. The DL was unreal. Constant havoc. A few blown assignments and some dumb penalties, but for the first game of the season, gotta love what we’ve seen

Giving up 27 points isn't quite fantastic in my book. I didn't get to see the game, was at a church function pretty much all day. Just finished watching the shorted game and highlights. The D-line looks better, LB's still need some work in the run game, pass pro they looked decent. The back end of our D still needs work. Battle missed some tackles and it seemed like Tampa Bay could have thrown for a lot more yards but they had some key drops.skycruiser wrote: ↑Sun Sep 13, 2026 5:58 pmOverall the D was fantastic. All in all I'm not going to complain about a win. I love all the turnovers and it seemed like every FA or draft pick contributed. Cook a forced fumble, lots of pressure and sacks. I mean there's a lot to build on.

Re: Cats v Bucs Game Thread
This is kinda nuts. Talk about the impact of an actual defense
What if I told you...
Joe Burrow had a pick-six.
Ja'Marr Chase had 12 yards receiving.
The Buccaneers never punted.
And the #Bengals won.
