...We're really deep at WR.
💯 incredibly so
I still suspect they'll trade at least one, maybe two, for some offensive line depth.

Am I the only one who feels really good coming out of Pre-season? This feels like the best preseason I can remember for this team, maybe in my lifetime. 3-0. Which, doesn't matter, but is still better than 0-3. No injuries. A couple camp surprises that look like they may actually be the real thing. The only real question in the starting lineup is how the linebackers will do. I'm even cautiously optimistic about that. Dexter Lawrence seems like he is going to be even better for us that we thought, which is great.

We all know they need to find one more guy at Tackle, but hopefully we won't need it.

It's not perfect. Like I said we are counting on the Linebackers to be better and we all hope Orlando Brown shows up when the season actually starts. But I just feel really optimistic for once instead of nervously excited or worried.

For the first time that I can remember as a Bengals fan, the front office did what they needed to do and put 100% of the season liability and success onto the players!

Top to bottom one of the most talented teams the Bengals have ever put together!

I agree with both Meat & Jmble. The front office acted very un-Bengal like this offseason. They went out and took deliberate actions to fix the teams biggest weakness. And we all applauded it.

And I think pretty much all of us are cautiously optimistic going into this season. The excellent preseason they've had, going 3-0 with no major injuries, has only added to that optimism.

However, we're all veteran fans in here and all of us are painfully aware we're just one more Joe Burrow knee injury away from a 4-13 like season. That's where the caution comes in.

As a Bengals fan history has tempered us to not get too wildly optimistic. Disaster is always just a sack away... :?

Unlike years in the past, I feel like Flacco could pull us thru if we actually have a defense that can stop people.

This year feels different!

I hope we don't find out but I don't share your optimism. He was 2-8 (1-5 with Bengals, 4-3 with Burrow) and 2-4 the year before so he hasn't been finding ways to win (yes, I know those losses are not all on him) but he is not getting any younger/better. Plus at his age likely will not be able to play very many snaps before getting injured.
