So let me get this straight. If you still have college eligibility left, and your cut by your current NFL team, you have the option now of returning back to college for the remainder of your eligibility?

And you can go back to any college program willing to take you...?

That's wild.

The courts have completely changed what college sports was.

And not for the good!

Related but off topic. OSU just signed a basketball player from Europe that has been playing professionally since 2021. NCAA didn't clear him a couple years ago when he tried to go to Michigan but did now.

If they are going to pay the players, I have no problem with a guy coming out for the draft, participating in training camp, and then deciding he's not ready and going back to college. Between the players getting paid and the transfer portal, it just doesn't make much difference to me anymore.

I do agree that they should not let a player who actually played in the NFL during the regular season go back and play in College.

Love how everyone is going crazy over Aaron Donald coming out of retirement. The guy is 35 years old and hasn't played in three years. Remember when JJ Watt said he would possibly come out of retirement to play with the Bengals. I heard that argument everywhere.

If we meet the Rams again it will be in The Super Bowl after he's played 19 or 20 games. We'll see how he's holding up then.
