From all the camp reports I'm reading on the net it seems our D-line is giving our offense hell on every snap. I trust all this defensive pressure being applied in camp will help hone our Offense line for the regular season.

Our O-line should be all the better for going up against our new and improved D-line every day now.

At least, that's the hope. :?
I have been waiting for the OL to improve for like a dozen years so I will believe it when I see it.

The experts believe it's more our D-line is just that good. I think our O-line is slightly above average, which is serviceable. I don't think any of us expect a top 10 O-line.

What's your cold take about this hot take from Twitter? Can this truly be summed up in one word......Defense? Or is it two words....Offensive Line? Or is it coaching staff? Or Mike Brown? It's interesting to ponder for sure. There were moments when both Jake Browning and Joe Flacco mirrored the stats from Burrow's best games. So is Burrow just average?

Joe Burrow:

never has sniffed an all pro

hasn’t made the playoffs in 5 years

has never sniffed an MVP

has played 3 full seasons in his career

is blessed with the best 1-2 punch in the NFL

has won more than 9 games once.

tier 1 though!!!
You guys are going go be severely disappointed at the team they've put together this year. Severely disappointed. - Joe Bananas 8/18/2025

This tell you how good he is. Taylor with Joe Burrow as the starting QB: 48-35-1 (including playoffs). Without him: 9-30.

It's not on live here in Hooterville. It's being replayed on the NFL Network at 3am tomorrow. So I'll be counting on you guys to keep me informed tonight.

Headed back to Cincy mid-week next week so I am hopeful I can pick up some Bengals merch and maybe catch a practice. But that's about as close as I'll get to seeing any Bengals ball. Not on TV here in Carolina either.
