Jay Morrison and PDJR both insisted this wouldn’t take them out of downs if he’s there at 10. Both guys are on a 1 year deal and are special teamers and good solid back ups.

But the prevailing belief is downs won’t be there
Yeah, numerous posts from several Bengals beat writers have led me back off the cliff. One of them, listed like a dozen signings the Bengals have made historically in April and then they went out and drafted for the same position in the first or second round that year.

I've found more that believe he'll be there at 10 than not so far. Whether we'll take him if he's there is another question.

DJ Reader met with the Giants which probably means the Ravens couldn't make a deal.

Wouldn't mind seeing him back in stripes.

Ravens are signing Vandy QB Diego Pavia. He started 1 year at NMSU, my alma mater, and lead a win over auburn, IN auburn. he then entered the transfer portal and played his last 2 years with Vandy.

he is no fluke. however, he appears to have gone undrafted mostly due to his size (6'-0", 207 lbs) and his horrible thug mentality and attitude. im going to be keeping an eye on this one, as i always felt he was a very gritty and tough QB that just finds ways to win.

Ravens are signing former Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia to a three-year deal, per source. Pavia was supposed to try out this weekend, but the Ravens signed him in advance.

BTW at Senior bowl he was measured at 5'9 7/8". So, the between being short and by all reports a complete jackass is why he was undrafted and therefore would be surprise if he ever steps on the field in a regular season game.

DJ Reader

Giants agreed to terms with DL DJ Reader on a two-year, $12.5 million contract. The deal includes $5.25 million in guaranteed money, all of which is held in the first year of the contract. Reader will make a maximum of $6.5 million in 2026, setting up a team-friendly contract that appears to have a clear path for the two sides to move on after the first year. Reader previously visited the Giants prior to the team trading away Dexter Lawrence, finalizing his contract in time for organized team activities later this month. The 10-year veteran should immediately enter the starting lineup after starting 32 games for the Lions the previous two seasons.

Note: The Bengals have officially hit the 90-man roster limit following a pair of moves on Friday afternoon. Cincinnati acquired former Giants linebacker Swayze Bozeman via waivers, and signed undrafted free agent safety Isaiah Nwokobia.
