Bengals coaches are at Clemson pro day so don’t expect any signings since we can’t walk and chew gum at the same time
reverse psychology for the win

We have a signing. Bengals have signed Defensive Tackle Joathan Allen away from the Vikings.

Two year deal for 28 mil.
Sorry, that's not good enough for O_B.

Well we sit here and are desparate, so what do we do? We over pay for Jonathan Allen. It's like we can't do more than 1 thing at a time and we miss out on so many things. I'm not crashing out but at the same time I'm just so confused how an organization this big have this much disfunction.

So happy I get to post this on my first day back. Bills sign FA Safety Geno Stone! Thank GOD!!

Been traveling hard the last couple on months so I haven't had much time to follow any of the FA news. But from I read thus far, its typical Bengals. Afraid to make a splash. SOP would rather sit in the kiddie pool with all the pee.

Anyway, back out on the road next week to Reno for 5 days. I'll be back for draft night to see if we shit the bed.
You guys are going go be severely disappointed at the team they've put together this year. Severely disappointed. - Joe Bananas 8/18/2025

They've signed three new defensive starters, two of them on day one. When was the last time they signed any free agents on day one?

Yes, we'd all like it if they sign another Linebacker, but other than that, any reasonable person would have to concede this has been a pretty productive off season for us.

Anyone expecting them to go into free agency and sign 6 or 7 new players was living in a fantasy world. That was never realisticly going to happen.

They didn't sit on their cap money till the second week and sign only bargin basement players either.

I'd give this free agency period a B+ right now. Grading on a curve, that's pretty good for the Bengals.
