Re: Bengals Related News & Notes
But yes. NFL had peaked and its not going to get any better. I started really blasting the officials years ago and its 10x worse now than ever before. But I love other sports. College football and basketball and you know what, its just as bad there. Love HS basketball, and it's horrible there too. Honestly I've never seen officiating soooo bad at any level I choose to watch.
There's too much betting. I mean the mob got to NBA players and they make gazillions..... you dont think they go after these officials from HS? From college? Who make 150 a game?
And baseball sucks anymore. Its about as exciting and refreshing as a 2026 foghat concert anymore.

I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

I haven't seen that as official anywhere. If happens I will not miss him. He is lazy and only way it seems he can pass protect is by slightly false starting on every snap and he is only getting older so don't think he is going to get faster. Will save over 14M against the cap.orange_black wrote: ↑Wed Feb 11, 2026 5:47 pmSo...... we released Orlando Brown.

Re: Bengals Related News & Notes
Andrew Whitworth says that the Bengals should do everything in their power to trade for Maxx Crosby including giving up the number ten pick in the draft.
As much as I hate giving up a first round pick, this team should be in win now mode. Maxx Crosby would probably be better in 2026 than anybody we draft with that first pick. A guy like Crosby instantly improves this defense. A guy like Caleb Downs might do that, but it's always going to be a gamble with a rookie.
I'm in "do anything to win now" mode before Burrow decides he's had enough and either pulls an Andrew Luck or a Carson Palmer. Joe seems unhappy, but I honestly think winning would be a cure all for him. He just hates losing so much that you can tell he's not having fun.

Re: Bengals Related News & Notes
What would Crosby cost us? Its gotta be more than the 10th pick in the draft on a rookie contract.
And that's probably how our front office will look at it.

The Max Crosby with zero play-off wins. Just like TJ Watt, Micah Parsons and Miles Garrett. Trey's best seasons were 23,24 he had with the Bengals they didn't make the play-offs.
I know there are a ton of other factors but 4 of the best sack guys have never won a play-off games make you wonder is that where big money should be spent.
