I got to believe Rogers days are likely over in the NFL and certainly in Pitt.Bengals1 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 25, 2026 1:42 pmIf memory serves, Rogers had issues with McCarthy at Green Bay.stripesincarolina wrote: ↑Sat Jan 24, 2026 5:07 pmMike McCarthy to PITT. I'm underwhelmed. If we had a defense and coach that knew how to call plays we would be owning this division over the span of several years. As it is, we'll be lucky to snag another title before Cleveland does.
This could get interesting....![]()

I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.
Re: NFL News & Notes
I still can't believe that the Cowboys gave up a draft pick for him after he was benched for the two worst LB in the NFL. Just another reminder that players can age fast in the NFL.
Veteran LB Logan Wilson announced his retirement from the NFL after six seasons.
“After a lot of thought and prayer, I’ve decided to officially retire from the NFL.
From being a Wyoming kid with big dreams to hearing my name called in the 3rd round of the 2020 Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals... football gave me more than I ever could have imagined.
Cincinnati will always mean a lot to me. The teammates, coaches, staff, and fans made those years unforgettable. That 2021 playoff run was something special - the interception in Tennessee to send us to the AFC Championship, beating Kansas City to win the AFC, and taking the field in the Super Bowl. Those moments and that locker room are something l’ll carry with me forever. And the best part of all, my daughter was born there
I’m also thankful for the opportunity to finish this season in Dallas and for the way that locker room welcomed me in.”

Strike year for the refs coming up. This will be fun.....NOT.
You guys are going go be severely disappointed at the team they've put together this year. Severely disappointed. - Joe Bananas 8/18/2025
Re: NFL News & Notes
Three time all pro defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence has requested a trade from the Giants and will not be participating in upcoming workouts.
Lawrence signed a four-year, $90 million contract extension during 2023 but has not been happy to see so many big pieces of the Giants’ core have been cast away since then, including his close friends Saquon Barkley, Julian Love and Leonard Williams.
He's 28 years old and is signed through 2027.
This is a no brainer that the Bengals should at least inquire. Maybe it would be too pricey, but they should at least look into it. (I'll go ahead and spoil this for you, they won't)
He is pretty expensive at about 27 mil this year and 26 mil next year. We'd probably have to make some cap space.

He's currently under contract and wants an extension. This is the Trey Hendrickson situation all over again.Jmble wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2026 1:22 pmThree time all pro defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence has requested a trade from the Giants and will not be participating in upcoming workouts.

If we couldn't reach an agreement with Trey, what makes anybody think we could with this guy...?
Re: NFL News & Notes
Those salary numbers are his cap hit if he says with Giants but if traded would be over 4M lower each year. If could get him for a 3rd and 6th and not have to give him an extension/pay raise would be a very good move. Stats last year not good but with just 32 tackles and just 1 sack but was a much bigger force prior years. And would have him for the years he turns 29 and 30 before the typical NFL player falls off plus DT tend to have a little longer shelf life.Jmble wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2026 1:22 pmThree time all pro defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence has requested a trade from the Giants and will not be participating in upcoming workouts.
