And now there are serious concerns about Burrow's mental well being.

i swear if that son of a bitch named mikey ruins burrow i will never come back.
I think this narrative on Burrow's mental well being is 100% media driven and has no real facts behind it.

This says it all right here. Hes getting mentally drained of the inept take the front office is "not doing" to keep this team competitive.

Lack of FAs
Lack of drafting

Boys, i'm gonna tell you something, ain't nobody ever won the kentucky derby riding a jackass, you need thoroughbreds and not just Burrow Chase and Higgins. You need them on the defensive side tooo.

you have to start keying in on free agents that will help this team, and you need to nail the next draft or 2 or it's over. It's done...

People may think Burrow holds only a selective few cards....lemme tell ya! He holds them ALLLLLLLLLLL! WITHOUT him, this franchise is DUNNZO!

Or the next Palmer. If things dont change in his favor within next year or two hes gonna want out... if they do r trade him then yes he'll sit home with his 60 plus million or more. Either way, things HAVE to get better or Burrow is through.

The "next year or two" isnt that far off/away. No, its not going go be this year. Think he's gonna wait and see what happens to coaches/etc, after this season. See what kind of investment they put behind him with free agency, etc...and sit home and watch the draft in amusement like the rest of us .... what I'm saying it's that if the organization doesn't get their shit on path and build a team around him hes DUNNNNNNN and No one is going go convince me otherwise.

They have blew it since the SB run. Losing Reader, Bates and others and YOU still havent found their replacements..... watching them draft players that the other 99% of teams and front offices are laughing at, that fans are laughing at cause everyone knows but them that they AINT GONNA WORK OUT!

Hes on the verge.... I can just tell...honestly believe the buffalo game came dam near breaking him

I'm not getting what you are getting out of that quote, I see it differently.

We know Joe's a competitor, no one makes sure he comes back early from an almost surely season ending injury because he isnt going to keep playing. I say it again this still feels like a media narrative push, and people are eating it up like sheep.

I get that, but i also believe thaglt Joe absolutely and unequivocally believes that he has to be perfect/ play perfect/ have the perfect game in order for the team to maybe win. Thats ALOT of pressure and sooner or later its going go get to him...

So again..why does he feel like he has to have a perfect game...? From office...other players we drafted who stink....players not developing....lack of free agency, other than a back up LB. It ALL deals with the lack of building a team around him.

3rd season in a row they missed playoffs...thats not Burrow and thats not his competitive nature. He wants to win and win now...he doesn't want a 'luck" year where they might make it to another AFC Champ Game..... he wants a team and honestly walking off the field in Buff you can see him in total disgust.

Now did he throw 2 picks in crucial moments...yeah, sure did ..... but again, thats where he believes he has to be perfect and thats to much pressure for anyone. They should have won that game ...Allen never should have 65 80 yard runs ...yeah exaggerating.... but I think reality hit Burrow Sunday and honestly I'm not sure if thats a good or bad thing.

It has got to start by drafting way better. With the cap space those 3 are taking up they can't fix everything let alone half their problems with free agents. A new head coach could go a long way to becoming a winning team also.

Zac has one more year on his contract and we all know how Mike thinks...meaning Zac isnt going anywhere at seasons end. Think they manipulate the fans by saying the same old thing .... injuries, we scored alot of points, unfortunate that we had a chance to win all the games we've played, we have a plan and this won't happen again, we have targeted this and that and all the fans will ewwwww and ahhhhhhh and start buying season tickets but nothing will change....its the same formula they have used since the 90s.

Duke will hold a press conference saying they're committed to winning and we'll draft someone who hasn't had a tackle since pop warner but has potential and looks like Tarzan and play like Jane.

I hate it. I really do. I hate being like this but man I'm 57 and nothing has changed in my lifetime with this team so why I do expect great things next year? Still gonna have the same old coach, same old owners, draft wacky, sign a couple 2nd and 3rd string FAs for a discount

Boys...Burrow is 29...times running out and his mental well being is breaking slowly. I seriously and honestly believe we have 1 or 2 more seasons at most and this team will absolutely blow up right in front of us.

I lean more towards JoeB's position on this one.

While I agree with Meat to a point, this is probably being blown up to some extent, that does not mean Joe isn't having serious internal issues.

That same competitive fire that got him back on the field early after his toe injury is also causing him to question the how and why of the teams current situation.

I'm actually glad he's speaking about it publicly. It puts some more pressure on the organization to get things done this off-season. It also helps validate the fans and media's feelings about how poorly this teams run.

With any luck, Pumpkin is listening and taking Joe seriously.
