I still think there’s a chance.

We have a ton of offensive weapons. If Browning does his best Dalton impression and just gets the ball to his weapons, we could win some games. The defense has to find something, a stop and a turnover here and there. If that happens we could be looking at making the playoffs.

I, however, have to hope we doing anything IN THE PLAYOFFS without Joe. He’s still our best and only hope at a Super Bowl.

Our next four games...

@ Denver, Detroit, @ Green Bay, Pittsburgh

Does anyone here seriously see a win in our immediate future...?

As I stated before, no, not with this schedule ahead.

The Broncos are decent. Definitely not the best team in the league. They are beatable.

Having said that, the only chance we have to win is everybody on this team is so embarrassed by the way they played yesterday that they all have career games on Monday night.

More likely than that, I think this team is close to quitting on Zac Taylor. You can see how frustrated Burrow was with Taylor at times during the first two weeks. I can't imagine there aren't other players who feel the same way. If we had different ownership, I'd say Taylor's job was in jeopardy even factoring in that he's playing without Burrow. We all know how Mike Brown works though.

Oh well, they aren't all going to be as bad as yesterday, but I'm afraid we could be looking at a top ten, if not top five pick next year. I hope they prove me wrong.

this reminds me of last year... there was one specific game, can't remember which one it was.... we had won the game... in a lucky fashion. Burrow was sitting on the bench disgusted. Zac came up to him for a high-five or something all smiles.... and burrow basically said, "fuck that, we sucked today"....

This told me everything i needed to know about zac.

Can burrow be our HC too?

According to one report I read this morning we have the most expensive offense in the league.

And currently, we rank dead last in offense.

Andrew Russell @Andrew_Russell7
The Bengals field the worst trio of interior run blockers by a country mile. Using run block grades among the positions, here's the ranks:

Risner: 61st of 67 OGs
Karras: 30th of 33 Cs
Fairchild: 60th of 67 OGs

And of course we just gave him an extension...

Goodberry @JoeGoodberry
Through 3 games, Ted Karras is having his worst season as a professional according to PFF grades. He's been charged with 8 pressures already and that's a pace of 45 pressures for the season.
Last year he allowed 23 total pressures.
In his 3 years in Cincinnati, he's averaged 21 pressures per season.

And yes, his Run Blocking is the lowest he's ever had.

Steve Palazzolo @StevePalazzolo_
Chase Brown and Ashton Jeanty are the only two running backs averaging negative yards before contact per rush.

We can nitpick everything from yesterday but it doesn't change anything. The only thing they can do is respond to yesterday. Will they respond like they should or will they just say F it and give up. That's the real question.
