hey guys, not fair! we just franchise tagged a guy who's played 2 games in the last 2 years so eat that!
No a big fan it this. He can't stay healthy and when playing has really developed a fumble problem. Money could be better spent IMO.

It gives them a full season to see if he's fully healthy again. They can get a deal done during the season if he looks like he's back to 100%.

Or, if negotiations prove too difficult he can be traded.

Either way it gives the team options. And there's nothing bad about that.

31 year old skinny WR don't get healthier when they turn 32. There are not many WR can stay healthy consistently after tuning 30. In the Bengals 10 WR of all time if I remember correctly Issac Curtis is the only one that ever caught a pass for the Bengals past the age of 31.

If they let him go and he signed with someone like the Niners for instance and went on to catch 14 TDs and 950 yards and helped them win a Super Bowl you'd feel pretty stupid.

I mean stupider than you usually feel....

Pretty sure Campbell doesn't quite fit in with our scheme here. He's a 3-4 DE and we run a 4-3, but hey if you think this is exhibit A you go right ahead and think what you think, free country!
My point is-was the ravens, steelers and browns will make moves this off season, us, we'll release Glenn, sign a Bobby Hart and a Preston Brown and call it quits. I didn't want Campbell, but it shows that other teams in our division will be doing stuff this offseason.
FA hasn't even started yet and you're telling us we don't have anything to look forward to... I guess every party has a pooper that's why we invited you!
You didnt invite me, I show up and kick ass and dont care about names. Again! My point is I cannot see the bengals trading for players and being highly active in free agency. Wake me when I'm wrong. I have a feeling I'll be asleep for awhile.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Keep your keyboard toughness to a minimum, no one is going to cyber fight you... Again FA just started, and you don't know whats going to happen yet so give them a chance before you become all Negative Nancy!

Seems like there's some action out there on Dalton, getting anything better then a ham sandwich for him is a win.
