Any way you look at it, we’re tied for the lead in the division for at least one week.

Didn’t see much of the other games today—Browns looked good in the first half but managed to Brown away their lead. Nice to have the preseason favorite for the division start 0-1.

Steelers, who are supposed to be terrible, beat the Bills who are supposed to be a playoff contender. Wild. Wouldn’t be surprised if they go steadily downhill over the season, like the second half of last season.

Injuries in Baltimore give the Raiders a good chance, sure would be nice to see them loose in prime time.

Interested to see the Bears game tonight, both to preview next week, and see how Dalton looks. I wouldn’t mind seeing him do well, but I’m looking forward to seeing what Fields can do.

Letting Whitworth go will continue to haunt this team for decades to come. Could be the biggest mistake ever made. Even bigger than drafting Akili Smith.
You guys are going go be severely disappointed at the team they've put together this year. Severely disappointed. - Joe Bananas 8/18/2025

John Ross has found his way back to the field in New York. Called up from PS for the Giants. Promptly catches a 52 yard TD bomb from Daniel Jones.

The Giants are getting ready to learn the frustration and lost potential of Mr Ross.

Can confirm. My sources tell me the #Cowboys tried unsuccessfully to trade Jaylon Smith. “He did everything we asked him to” but ultimately the play of guys like Keanu Neal, Leighton Vander Esch and I’m told perhaps increased use now of Jabril Cox led to the move

He would be a solid addition if we could sign him.
