Lots of talk that his season is over. Hate it for the man but not sad for the Ravens.Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins suffers knee injury against Washington, will undergo tests tomorrow

The initial fear is that #Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins suffered a season-ending knee injury based on the early diagnosis, sources say. He’s having an MRI today to determine the full extent.
An ACL tear is the belief, but all parties are waiting on the MRI to confirm.

An MRI today confirmed that Ravens’ RB J.K. Dobbins, one of the top young running backs in the game, suffered a season-ending torn ACL, per source.

Re: NFL News & Notes
Not huge news, but the Vikings have lost their top Tight End to injury for at least the first couple weeks of the season.
As we all know, every incarnation of the Bengals for the last decade or more has been terrible at covering the Tight End, so this will be at least one small check in the plus column for the Bengals in week one.
The Vikings have in recent history really liked to target the Tight End in the endzone. Kyle Rudolph was a presence there for the last ten years. Smith shared the role last year and edged Rudolph out for the top spot in 2021.

Not earth shattering news anywhere but for Bengals die-hards. This is the beginning of the end for SoP. Lets see how quickly he steps away from football operations over the next couple of years.

You guys are going go be severely disappointed at the team they've put together this year. Severely disappointed. - Joe Bananas 8/18/2025

I heard he drove away from the announcement in his Rascal Freedom Power Wheelchair ($1,498.20 at Sam’s Club) with a cackle on his lips and a pocket of ribbon candy.stripesincarolina wrote: ↑Mon Aug 30, 2021 10:41 pmhttps://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2 ... committee/

Dayum!!! Why not try and trade him to Miami for a low round pick? He's not Deshaun Watson, but who really wants Watson now anyway? At least it would give them depth!
To outright cut Cam is a bold, bold move. He rubbed somebody the wrong way for sure.

Re: NFL News & Notes
Most people are speculating that he asked for his release when told he wasn't going to be the starter. Seems likely that's true.stripesincarolina wrote: ↑Tue Aug 31, 2021 12:38 pmDayum!!!
