Well now I'm convinced that after our 2-6-1 start we would have won the superbowl. Its a good thing for the rest of the league that Burrow got injured. We had 2020 in the bag.
Yeah, I was confused why, with this transcendent quarterback, we were losing on the scoreboard in most of the clips.
That said, I do think Joe is really really good. This was like a hype video targeted at football nerds. Let me break down film to get you excited about how good Joe Burrow could be.
Meat, thanks for sharing that, it was a very cool breakdown of what Burrow does well when he's at his best.

Yes its a good breakdown, and yes Burrow has all the potential in the world to be elite. But so did Andy Dalton. In the winning years he was unstoppable except by his own defense including Pacman and Burfict. In the losing years he was running for his life like Burrow was last year and the Tds dropped and the INTs went up. I love Burrow, but unless the rest of the squad improves we're going nowhere. That said, I'm optimistic.
Did you just honestly compare Burrow to Andy Dalton....
And I will continue to do so until Burrow leads the Bengals to the playoffs and wins. Last time I checked Dalton was there 5 straight years.
Thats my defensive reaction Meat. There are just so many issues year after year with this team that I'm never going to blame the QB. (Ok, except maybe Klingler and Smith) But anyway, do I think Burrow is a better QB than Dalton? Time will tell. Does he have more potential and a higher ceiling? 100% yes.
The video, as Exile also stated, is a Burrow hype piece. It shows what he is capable of doing and I hope he does it. But there are 21 other guys plus a kicker that can ruin his day.
You guys are going go be severely disappointed at the team they've put together this year. Severely disappointed. - Joe Bananas 8/18/2025

You must have been watching a different team then what I was watching last year. Burrow last season was already above Dalton from what I saw. I'm sorry we are going to have to agree to disagree here.

The Bengals signed former Syracuse QB Eric Dungey and former Arkansas TE Cheyenne O'Grady after try outs at Rookie Camp.
Frankly I hope Cheyenne O'Grady makes the team. It's just a great name. Count me in for a jersey!

Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to terms with fourth-round offensive tackle D'Ante Smith (East Carolina), according to league source. #Bengals #NFL @seniorbowl @ECUPiratesFB @JimNagy_SB

#Bengals are signing former #49ers slot receiver and punt returner Trent Taylor, source says. Good fit for Cincy, which lost Alex Erickson in free agency and had a hole at both spots.

At least we don't have the threats of holdouts anymore thanks to the CBA....
