While B1 is executing a scorched earth strategy on OSF world.....
.....let me just say that this week has the appearance of the makings of a full blown implosion. Mutiny against Zac is not far off. And with the schedule getting tougher as we go, I think we all can agree (even those in the simple minded community) that the end is near. I can see a complete fire sale in the next two weeks. It will be positioned as the early steps to improve this team for 2021. I took a hard look at Geno's career stats this morning and he has definitely regressed in productivity in 2019 and now 2020. Almost a 50% reduction in sacks and tackles for a loss. He simply isnt getting into the backfield anymore. The numbers lie a little bit because his total solo tackles and combined tackles havent dropped. But I can easily argue that those tackles are occuring either at the LOS or 2-3 yards downfield. Dunlap has also regressed. These guys are 32-ish years old. Time to cut bait while you can.
I guess I get most of my fall Sundays back.....again.

You guys are going go be severely disappointed at the team they've put together this year. Severely disappointed. - Joe Bananas 8/18/2025

Every Bengal fan in existence has been thinking the same thing for at least a year. Don't act like you're so special.
Re: Bengals Related News & Notes
Apparently, both Dunlap and Atkins removed Bengals from their IG bios. Guessing they are on the block.
Re: Bengals Related News & Notes
No Jmeat, I'm not special. Once again I was using sarcasm to highlight a point. The point being when I strongly suggested that very move several weeks ago I (and the others who agreed with me) got flack from certain posters on what a stupid over-reaction that was. (Now let's see..... what poster was that?....hmmmmm....)
Now the rest of Bengaldom has come around to what I and a few others here, were saying some time ago.
See how that works....?
Re: Bengals Related News & Notes
I was thinking about this earlier this morning. What if Zac decimates this roster, gets rid of Dunlap, Atkins, Ross and AJ etc... and then gets sacked himself leaving the cupboard bare for the next poor dumb bastard that SoP hires....?
Bad times could be abrew'n gang....
Re: Bengals Related News & Notes
It's what this team did in the 90s. They hired an inexperienced HC, let over vets leave. Failed to replace 2 pro bowl caliber OL.Bengals1 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 12:28 pmI was thinking about this earlier this morning. That is not how you rebuild a team.

No I completely know what it was, but here you sit trying to justify you being an asshole!Bengals1 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 10:34 amNo, it isn't crazy it's Hyperbole. Making an exaggeration in order to highlight a point as in, "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse!"MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 9:36 amNo, it did not fly over my head but elevating bad position coaching to serial killers is quite crazy!
The simple minded often can't understand hyperbole or sarcasm and thus over react to it.
Let me put it another way using a familiar metaphor... It's like shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic. In other words, performing a useless task to appear to be helping that has no real affect on the outcome.
That's what changing out one pretty much useless player for another does.
If you'd like, I can use smaller words and simpler concepts so you can follow along...![]()
You think Zac is the problem but again since you don't seem to have an answer for my points so you just be a dick and insult my intelligence like I'm some kind of kid.
Again no one is complaining about Zac when he's going for it on 4th down in the right situations, or managing the game. Everyone is complaining about things that are coordinators or position coaching are responsible for. While I understand that you "Hate" Zac and it's very apparent you don't have to do it with asshole-ish posts like the one above.

I'm really not sure why B1 just doesn't come out and admit he hates Zac Taylor. Come on B1 spit it out, you will feel tons better.
I hate Jon kINTna!!! See how easy that was.
On a side note where I ended up finishing my college career at was the school that beat Jon kINTna in the national championship game. Funny how things work in this world.

I'll say it. I hate Taylor. I think he's a bad coach. Will he become a better coach one day? Perhaps. I prefer not to wait for that to happen here.
I don't like system coaches, or at least those who can't adapt their system to the players they have.
