Re: Rounds 4-7 Thread
You better get Davis-Gaither now then, he's not lasting through this round with his instincts and speed.
I have watched Stenberg play at Kentucky for years, he would be a good pick. 6'6 over 317, may be moved to one of tha tackle spots. He did a helluva job when they had to move Bowden (wr) to qb .
Bartch is another small school guy. Don't know much about him at all other than that.
I'd pick Gaither now and hope Stenburg or another OG would be there at 5 or hell, trade back up for him but Gaither aint lasting long at all.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Another small school wonder.Joe Bananas wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2020 10:19 amHonestly Akeem-Geathers is bad ass. He's the polar opposite of Logan Wilson, smaller type but prolly the fastest and quickest Lb in this draft. Watch some of his tape, he's good, just doesn't have prototype size.
Look, these guys may turn out to be great but the bottom line is nobody, not even our coaches, really knows how they're going to play against first rate talent.
It's a bigger gamble when you tap a guy from the WAC or Mid-Atlantic Conf. Etc.... It's a gamble when you take anybody but it's a bigger gamble when all your tape shows is how they did against Fresno State or Hawaii....

They actually got a decent idea of how they'll perform against better talent since they saw both Wilson and Davis-Gaither in the Senior Bowl.Bengals1 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2020 11:28 amAnother small school wonder.Joe Bananas wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2020 10:19 amHonestly Akeem-Geathers is bad ass. Well, if they are judging talent right now, Gaithers would be the pick. We can get a OG later.

One game plus a week's worth of practice, meetings, and interviews. It at the very least answers an immediate yes or no if they can match up. I think they proved they can. The best HC in the NFL, Belichick, seems perfectly fine drafting such players.
