Bengals QB coach Dan Pitcher now interviewing for Bucs OC position. Success breeds these types of issues for both players and staff positions. This team could easily take a step back in 2023 if we experience wholesale changes in the coaching ranks.
As long as we have Joe Burrow I think this team will be fine. He's got that IT factor you just can't measure.
100%
He'll have people calling Zac the 2nd coming of Belichick

Look man, Zac's got to get some credit for the success, he's really helped build a really good culture here.

Agree. Seems like all the players have his back and he's only bringing in high quality soon to be leaders and over all great players on and off the field. Just seems like it too me.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

#Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase on @NFLNetwork’s #SuperBowl Live: “Joe (Burrow) knows how he wants to set his contract up to keep his weapons around him.” Says Burrow contract will work itself out.
Being reported that Ja'Marr has some info about Joe's contract. Interesting honestly, but it sounds like Joe already knows what he wants and how he wants it to be structured.

Always had a gut feeling it was/if this is the case about him and him only. Sure he's gonna get a boat load, but I also feel as many others on here that it'll be a contract where it benefits not only him, but the team and organization.
But.......Jesse Bates wanted this too and his agent is being a huge ass about it. Bates wanted to stay and prolly would have taken a little less to be here but his agent is on the fat money check train and also conducting it.
Let's hope Joe doesn't end up like this.

Yeah. Agree OB. I mean Bates hired him, not the other way around and he needs Bates more than Jesse needs him. I don't get it. Maybe its a contract thing on his agents and Bates part. Like Bates is under contract with his agent for so long. Dunno

I wonder if there is something built into his contract that Bates can't just off and fire him. Agent took advantage of a kid who didn't know what he was signing when he did.

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Arizona Cardinals do not plan to hire a head coach until after Super Bowl LVII next week.
