Not much to disagree with. I do think they keep one more WR and one less TE. I do hope they go out and sign another S because that position is not good right now.

Bengals and Geno Stone agree to a revised contract for 2025
Stone takes a pay cut, his pay reduced by $1.575M down to $4.9M of which $1.5M is guaranteed.

One can only hope they're on the verge of signing some help at guard or safety.

That or use the funds for an extension for Hendrickson and a guard or safety.

Put that thought out of your mind, no way are the Bengals giving big extension to a 32-year-old DE. IF he stays healthy and has a great year small chance might tag him for the 2026 season but not sure will have cap room for that.

I do not agree with you. I think their freeing up cap space for an extension.

Agree with Meat. They already have the money available to sign a Guard or Safety of the quality of players that are currently available.

If this isn't freeing up money for a Hendrickson extension, I don't know what it could be.

The Bengals just don't sign 32-year-old none OL/QB players to big contracts. Give me one example in Bengals history where they have? It is why their dead cap hit is 31st in the NFL this year.

The Bengals have done a lot of things in the past few years they just don't do in the past.
