Not a bad move honestly. Sounds like its a deep DL class and if we don't get our G by the second round it's going to be a struggle to find one that will make an impact this year.

I've seen some Mocks where we take the Safety out of South Carolina, seems that some folks are really high on his athletic ability and his extremely high football IQ. We need guys like that on our back end. Losing a smart player like Bates shows why.
