Re: Bengals Related News & Notes
This shows a lack of coaching leadership imo.
Zac covered for Chase after his meltdown in KC. When asked about it afterward he gave a totally wishy-washy answer claiming he wasn't on the field so he didn't know exactly what occurred.
Huh? What kind of response is that...? Why does he need to be on the field to condemn that kind of behavior? It was obvious he didn't want to offend his star WR.
Then CTB makes disparaging comments about the other team just days before a must win game in prime time. Did Zac say anything? Did he call him out in any press conference held before the game? No, he did not.
Do we have any evidence he spoke with either of them privately? I would think word of such a meeting would leak out even if exactly what was said remained private.
Nothing....crickets.
If your HC is afraid to call out his own players your club has a culture problem. The insane are running the asylum.
You think maybe that came up between Burrow and Zac? If it didn't, it should have. If Zac can't control a couple of mouthy players how's he going to control an entire team?
He looks weak. Maybe he simply is...

The surprise no one saw coming:
The #Bengals rank 2nd in EPA per rush and 3rd in rushing success rate this season.

Sam Hubbard rates as one of worst defensive linemen in #NFL this season.
"Hubbard didn't want to use his injury issues as an excuse for his performance against Washington or in the first three games where he has drawn an overall grade from PFF of 46.4 (out of 100)

I don't imagine too many of our defensive players have winning grades!Bengals1 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 26, 2024 5:04 pmBENGALS TALK 🗣 @BengalsTalk

The #Bengals have activated punter Brad Robbins from IR.
The move doesn’t mean they are moving away from Rehkow. They have an open spot and they have talked about continuing the competition once Robbins was healthy.
It’s clearly Rehkow’s job to lose at this point, but the evaluations will be ongoing.

Jeremy Fowler @JFowlerESPN
Tests showed #Bengals DE Trey Hendrickson (neck stinger) did not suffer any nerve damage from his injury Sunday, per source.

Zac says they’ll open 21-day window for Myles Murphy, McKinnley Jackson closer to Wednesday and see where they’re at.
Same for B.J. Hill, Sheldon Rankins.
Wait and see.
Zac repeats that B.J. Is closer to return.

What's there to evaluate? Oh wait Mikey doesn't cut draft picks. So we'll cut the guy who setting all sorts of records. Makes sense. No wonder this team is where it is right now.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Good! I was thinking they'd keep Robbins just due to using a draft pick on him.
Rehkow has a massive leg
