Re: Bengal Transactions
With Collins soon to be a Bengal, our Oline suddenly goes from shit to sugar with incredible depth. Hopkins (maybe), Carman, Spain, Adeniji, Johnson and Prince who all have significant starter experience. You may lose Johnson, Hopkins or Adeniji to some camp competition if we draft OL, but other than that, this has become a solid group overnight. And I can argue that plugging one of last year's starters into the revamped line will only serve to make them better.
Get Collins. PLEASE MIKEY!!

If Ogunjobi will be ready by week 1 and he wants another 1 year deal just to play I think we sign him. But he's looking for his long term payday and we cant offer that right now. He has a really tough choice to make.

Zac Taylor speaking (From Paul Dehner)
Zac Taylor says Bengals signed Ted Karras and Alex Cappa and have released C Trey Hopkins.
Zac Taylor says they are probably where they are at in regards to potentially bringing Hopkins back. Sounds like this is a clean cut.
Taylor removes any doubt. Karras is the center.

Trey Hopkins cut. That's what 5 or 6M added to the cap?
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Pollack on Collins
OL coach Frank Pollack on La’el Collins, who he coached in Dallas and is still here visiting: “I’ve got a great relationship with LC. I love him to death. He definitely fits the definition of a glass-eater.”
