In other news.....

One of the most consistent observations from Lions preseason games was that rookie right tackle Penei Sewell did not play well. Sewell was consistently beaten by pass rushers and did not look ready to be an NFL starter.

So yeah, maybe there is some truth to finding good Olinemen.

Also some truth to rookies who haven't played football in over a year and a half trying to come in and start from day one in the NFL. I hope that's all it is with Chase too, but I really think they just need a little time. We will see though.

I'm sure it's that Penile is just adjusting but honestly I wasn't super high on him to start with. Now I'm not saying our 1st rounder is lighting the world on fire right now and my opinion doesn't matter a whole hell of a lot cause I thought Price was a lock but even those TV talking heads (so called experts) can be wrong.

Almost every rookie who sat out last year has struggled in their camps and pre-seasons. I'm sure both Penile and Chase will be fine......eventually.

Dolphins have released LB Vince Biegel from the IR with an injury settlement and waived DB Jaytlin Askew from IR with an injury settlement.

They also signed former Bills and Bengals OT Bobby Hart to their practice squad.

And like we've all known for years, a quality starter on the Bengals Oline is another teams practice squad tackling dummy. The Billy Price trade was absolutely shredded by the NY sports media. Again, our quality starter at one point and he'll be lucky to see quality playing time in NY.

Oogieboogie.....Fisher.....Guycheck.....Redmond......anyone want to bet Fred Thompson doesnt get added to the list? It just cant be this hard to develop a kickass Oline. We've had a couple in the past. So frustrating.

After losing JK Dobbins for the season during preseason, the Ravens now fear to have lost Running Back Gus Edwards and CB Marcus Peters both to torn ACLs in today's practice.

The Ravens keep on taking hits.

Leveon Bell will likely be added from the practice squad to take Gus Edwards place, but there is also talk of Latavius Murray possibly coming in. Either way a brutal start to the season.
