Oh, I watched almost no Bengals game late last season. If I hadn't seen it mentioned somewhere else, I wouldn't have known.Bengals1 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 9:29 pmDid he...? I watched virtually none of last season. We gave up our subscription to the NFL Sunday Ticket when we moved.
The only Bengals game I actually remember watching last season was the Thursday night debacle against the Steelers. I think I tuned out before halftime...![]()

Close. This Vampirella poster was on the back of the bedroom door in my sticky bachelor pad when I first started dating MrsB1. She did not like it at all....stripesincarolina wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 2:05 pmB1 is all about that Megan Fox-ish mold. He's been known to have a cardboard cutout or two. Not sure how Mrs B1 feels about the inflatables he has stashed in the closet though.

Anybody going to listen to the Bengals scrimmage tonight? Maybe post some updates...?
Re: Bengals Related News & Notes
I've been listening but no real 'highlights' yet...
AJ, Mixon, Ross not playing, among others

Well we have a Burrow to Boyd TD...
He started the scrimmage 0-3 but then has gone 9-10 with a TD to Boyd.
Had another one earlier that was called back.

Lotta PIs in the scrimmage that arent being called. So I'm not sure how accurate the takeaways will be one way or the other. No officials tonight.
You guys are going go be severely disappointed at the team they've put together this year. Severely disappointed. - Joe Bananas 8/18/2025

yea apparently the first TD to Boyd that had been called back was later reversed to TD so that's 2 TDs Burrow to Boyd

Not saying the video you saw wasn't true. It probably was. But interesting to see looking at his PFF scores last year, he had a slightly better than average overall score of 62.6. The breakdown though his pass blocking score was a 78.4 vs run blocking of 57.8stripesincarolina wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 12:07 amYes he played and started and was a big part of Mixons late season success. I should be clear, the videos I saw were pass blocking drills and he looked silly bad. Literally getting roasted with spin moves every play. He clearly is a better run blocker.
Compared to Bobby Hart's Overall 57.6 with Pass Blocking of 68.7 and Run blocking of 46.3 you can see where he performed okay.
Now, the big difference is Bobby Hart played 1,086 snaps and Johnson only played in 144 snaps.

He may have some potential that can be developed, but all the talk out of camp is that he's not looking good right now against the 2nd team, much less looking like he should be getting 1st team reps.Jmble wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2020 11:32 amNot saying the video you saw wasn't true. I'm surprised, but good find on your part. Here is one of the videos I saw on Youtube. I recommend watching the whole thing, very informative. But Fred's snaps can be seen around the 3:06 mark. He might as well have sat those out.Jmble wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2020 11:32 amNot saying the video you saw wasn't true. It probably was.
