My brewery will be celebrating England's New Year. That allows us to have a fun count down and toast, while closing on time and going home at a normal hour.

Happy New Year to you all! Roy Cooper has us shut down at 10pm here in NC so it will be a dud. I'm on day 5 of quarantine anyway. So far so good.

Like all of you I will be very glad to bid adieu to 2020. When I look back on this horrible year it's not the pandemic or lock-downs or the roller coaster ride my 401K went on that I'll remember. It's the people in my life that left me forever I'll think of most.

I lost four good friends this past year, three of them to cancer and one to covid. ( See Stripes Covid thread in the Members Only section for more details) All of them were long time friends and all of them were much too young to pass so quickly.

So yeah, 2020 can't end soon enough as far as I'm concerned. The sooner the better...
