watching these teams shows me just how far we are from contention. sheesh

I mostly agree, however KC is just a ridiculously talented team. If there was a way to index Superbowl teams accurately I'm sure KC would be in the top 5 of all time. From coaching to skill positions to player experience to kicking they are firing on all cylinders. I just dont see TB getting it done.

i actually agreed with the call. if you dont get any points ont aht drive, the game is over. kicking the FG allowed them to keep playing.

Actually no. They get no points and the Bucs get the ball up 8 with just slightly more time on the clock than they had after kicking the field goal with still having three time outs left. Go for it on fourth and make it, you either tie it up or go into it only down by two knowing that if you get the ball back either way all you need is a field goal to win the game. The only benefit to kicking the field goal was knowing that if you got the ball back you don't have to go for two after the TD. It's just not worth it.

At this point and time I'd take Joe Burrow over anyone except Mahomes in the last 2 minutes of a game. We've got a leader and a winner we just need to get the pieces around him!

no and in fact i chose the bucs in that game solely because of Brady.

Well, also because Aaron Rodgers chose not to run the ball on third down to try and get in the endzone. Even if they stopped him short it would have been a much more makeable fourth down attempt.
