Personally I didnt want him back. He was injured the vast majority of the past 2 years, he whined non stop about the contract he signed and was a constant distraction. With the amount of money we already have tied up he isnt someone I would have even offered the 95 million too.orange_black wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2026 11:43 amYIKES

Re: Free Agent Tracker
I suspect they may sign a few more B - grade players in the coming days. As Free Agency drags on, asking prices will inevitably fall. The Bengals will go bargin hunting at that point.Joe Bananas wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2026 11:27 amGuess they are content. No more signings and reporters are saying they were not even interested in Chanel or Lloyd. Guess they're ok with running out the 83rd and 85th ranked LBs for the season.
They still have cap space to sign some players.

Re: Free Agent Tracker
if the last 2 days tell me anything, it's that they think they have their 2 starters at LB. apparently a vet to help is going to be the play
still need:
LB- apparently a cheap veteran
DT- i'd like to see them get DJ reader at this point
OT- need a swing tackle for depth
Backup QB- bring on Flacco or bring back Brandon Cook
TE- david njoku anyone?
CB- they'll hit this late draft but might as well grab mike hilton and just run it back

So players that no teams truly want other than back ups and special team players. Like Burke and others? No thanks. It hasn't worked in the past 3 years and its not going to work this year
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.
Re: Free Agent Tracker
That is basically a 4-year contract with an out without too big a cap hit after 2 years.orange_black wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2026 10:44 amThe contract details are as follows:Term: 4 years
Total value: $112 million
Average annual value (AAV): $28 million
Signing bonus: $20 million
Fully guaranteed money: $60 million
Potential maximum value: Up to $120 million (with incentives, such as $500,000 bonuses for reaching sack thresholds like 8, 10, 12, or 14 sacks per season)
Re: Free Agent Tracker
I agree this is what they need. Not sure about TE because I read that All said he is fully back so may just use a 6th or 7th round pick on one.skycruiser wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2026 1:25 pmif the last 2 days tell me anything, it's that they think they have their 2 starters at LB. apparently a vet to help is going to be the play

Re: Free Agent Tracker
Free agent QB Jake Browning plans to sign with the Tampa Bay Bucs on a one-year deal, per source. From backing up Joe Burrow to Baker Mayfield.
