Which DII school are you watching? I followed my Oilers close this year.
Yes the Oilers. My wife's job brought us back on campus so real convenient to catch sports other than football. Were you there when the new head coach was playing? My wife and others that I have talked to that have worked with him so far speak very highly of him.
It was a great season for them but between graduation and especially the portal has lost a ton of talent so not sure what next year will look like.
Actually I was not, however he did live in my rental house while he was in school there.
They had a very good season, was on the sidelines for the Tiffin game, was pretty disappointed in the finish there. Didn't get to catch the playoff game but it didn't sound very good. Personally I'd like to see a Private and State school separation for playoffs in DII.

I was at the Tiffin game and finish was gut punch I also missed the play-off game. I agree completely on the private/state split but should be for all sports. Also needs to happen at D3 where the big state Wisconsin schools dominate in most sports or they should just be kick out of D3 and play in the D2 state school division.

Here is something you don't hear every day.
The Bears requested to interview Bengals WR coach Troy Walters for their offensive coordinator position but he declined, source tells
@NFLonCBS
. Walters, who's had multiple OC looks the last few years, will stay in Cincy with hopes to win with one of the best units in football

Kudos to Zac Taylor and Brian Callahan for picking up the entire cost of Bengals beat writer Jay Morrison's Celebration of Life for his late wife.
We bitch about Zac enough, he definitely deserves credit for being a good dude.

Yeah, I don't think anybody here really felt Zac was a bad person per se. His going around to sports bars in Cincy after play-off victories and handing out footballs showed he was a pretty good guy.
Its just all that coaching stuff he sucks at...

I actually even think he would be a very good Offensive Coordination if you strip away being a HC.

Horrible clock management, head scratching play calling, poor red flag use....no thank you.
I think he topped out at QB coach actually. I could see him going back to that after a 7 - 10 2026.

Yeah. Can't beat that. Mega kudos
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.
