I 100% agree, I know in my business this type of behavior would not fly. I wouldn't accept that and I do not accept that from my employees.

Report: Bengals offer Trey Hendrickson $28mil...
"Hendrickson is due to make $16 million this year. The Bengals, we’ve heard, have offered roughly $28 million per year. Whatever the amount (and, as importantly, the structure), he wants more.
He had a chance to get it, when the team gave him permission to seek a trade. That went nowhere, because no one was willing to give him what he wants (especially since they also would have had to give the Bengals something in return)."

Re: Bengals Related News & Notes
Another shining example of a late career vet not willing to accept the harsh reality. BUT, the Bengals didnt do themselves any favors here. Assuming everyone in the building knew what the line in the sand was, package him up for the draft and trade him. If they truly believe he only has a year left in him, find a deal that makes sense and let someone else take the risk. Instead they will likely end up on the losing PR side of the story because Trey is so liked in Cincy. Sure they hold all the leverage here. But how much does that mean really if Trey holds out. How does that help the team??Bengals1 wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 6:03 pmReport: Bengals offer Trey Hendrickson $28mil...

I again go back and blame Trey on this. He's the type that thanks God publically but behind everyones back doesn't praise him. 28 million is a very good offer for what he is.Bengals1 wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 6:03 pmReport: Bengals offer Trey Hendrickson $28mil...

I may have been wrong when I said the Bengals wouldn't make such an obviously helpful move.

It's easy to blame the Bengals here, but I can't remember an instance where the Bengals haven't easily signed their draft picks since the slotted system came into place.Bengals1 wrote: ↑Tue May 20, 2025 12:53 pmShemar Stewart remains sidelined as contract dispute with Bengals continues...

Supposedly Stewart just wants what the last two first round picks got, but nobody is saying what that is. All we know is that it has to do with the "language of the contract"
I feel like there is more to this than what is being said. I'm not fully in either side's corner. He's showing up to meetings and working out. I'm assuming this will get done and be quickly forgotten. It's just a little strange.
