Honestly nothing to write home about. Gesicki is your best signing so far and that's not saying a lot.

This team needs players. We haven't done anything or made any improvements since the SB run and it shows- hence sitting home during the playoffs. The players we signed yesterday doesn't help us against the Chiefs Rats and or Bills. Sorry but they don't. We went from needing improved to still needing improvement.

It's not a bad start. Gesicki is the best FA at his position. The TJ Slaton signing is pretty important, he's the best rush stopper in FA. This move now allows the BJ Hills of our defense to stop trying to take on double teams, which they just can't really do super effectively. I like the Perine signing, sures up our RB room so we don't have to worry about getting another one in the draft. I also like the Ossai prove it contract.

All in all its a pretty good start. Sure we want to see these others sign and they eventually will but as I posted earlier, it takes 2 to finish up a contract and if the other party doesn't want to sign right away then there's really nothing you can do but wait.

also signing burks... not sure how good of a LB he is, but they added a defensive player.... they are trying.

I for one am really excited that Gesicki is back. that dude runs HARD after the catch, AND he has pretty good hands.

I thought Ford looked solid when he came in.... so he "feels" like a really nice backup that can play all over the line if needed.

as for Perine..... i dunno... im still butthurt that he didnt give more effort to catch the 4th down pass in the superbowl.....

but all in all, i think we are doing "ok"... but we HAVE to sign Chase and Higgins, cuz if we dont.... i can see my heart being broken by Burrow asking for a trade in the near future....

I'm not really sure how any team can have a Burrow and not make him happy, but bulld around him, not give him what he wants. This is a once in a lifetime player. We will never see the likes of Burrow again for the Bengals. This organization has completed fucked this show up. They have done absolutely NOTHING to improve since the super bowl and we seen the effects of that last year.

I honestly don't care if Burrow requests a trade. It will not upset me one bit. If you all can't see how inept this organization is then I'm sorry but you're delusional and I need to wake up.

This just isn't about Chase and Tee. True, 90% of it is the other 10% is that regardless of them two, this FO has done NOTHING to build the best team they can around Joe Burrow. Fact.

They pulled the agreement off the table last year at 35 and that'd why he held out camp. They are inept. Make him an offer and let's go. I'm telling you right now Joe is getting pissed minute by minute and you don't want that. He has basically pleaded and nothing. Deaf ears.
