Update from Dehner: Considering the unfriendly history between the #Bengals and Wink Martindale, it's kind of funny they somehow got caught up in the conversation about him for DC. For clarity: Martindale is not part of the #Bengals DC search nor was he ever under consideration.

Dehner is pretty connected, lazy or not I'm betting he's right and Martindale is not part of the search. I, for one, don't want him anyway.

I know Dehner is legit. I’m talking about the original report that connected us to wink

I don't know how I feel about this honestly. If this is the guy they have pegged I guess I'll see first hand when they play Ohio State. Golden was here previously when we drafted Logan Wilson and I thought he did pretty darn well developing that guy.

On the fence but can be pulled either way on this one.

Quotes from Jim McNalley...

SCOTT PETERS WILL MAKE THE BENGALS GREAT AGAIN. MARK MY WORDS. HE IS A HANDS ON, SMART, UP DATED WITH THE LATEST TECHS ON PASS AND RUN AND WILL DEVELOPE YOUNG GUYS TO THEIR MAX. HE IS THE TOP NEW OL COACH IN THE NFL WAY BEYOND ALL EXPECTATIONS.

Separately, Peters coached Brock Lesnar throughout his career and incorporates non-traditional NFL techniques into the mix from MMA and WWE. Other quotes have all been quite positive.
You guys are going go be severely disappointed at the team they've put together this year. Severely disappointed. - Joe Bananas 8/18/2025

So I pulled up some of his videos and I think I like this guy. He's got some interesting techniques. I'm very interested in this hire fire time being.
