If Bengals did those hits against the Steelers not only been fined they would have been suspended.

#Bengals add two players to the practice squad.
The first is WR Tyron Johnson, a third-year player out of Oklahoma State. He’s played 26 games, originally a college free agent of the Texans.
Also, DE Owen Carney, a rookie out of Illinois, spent preseason with the Dolphins.

Well some former Bengals family news, and unfortunate at that, Florida Gators backup QB Jalen Kitna....yes, son of John, was just arrested for child porn with intent to promote. That has to sting.
You guys are going go be severely disappointed at the team they've put together this year. Severely disappointed. - Joe Bananas 8/18/2025

And now he has been cut from the team. This has the potential to spiral for this kid. Hope Dad gets ahold of him mentally and spiritually. He probably just lost every friend he had.

Bengals provide injury updates on Joe Mixon and Hayden Hurst
The Cincinnati Bengals tossed a pair of major injury updates to onlookers on the Monday after the Week 13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

First up is the status of running back Joe Mixon, who just missed another game while he works through concussion protocol.
Per Bengals head coach Zac Taylor, Mixon was held out against the Chiefs for precautionary reasons and he could be cleared early this week, according to ESPN’s Ben Baby.
Second is tight end Hayden Hurst, who left the game against the Chiefs early with a calf injury. According to Bengals.com’s Marisa Contipelli, Bengals head coach Taylor said Hurst is “doubtful for this week.”
That’s some good and bad news for the Bengals offense. Mixon’s return is great, though it will be interesting to see how much work he gets with Samaje Perine playing so well.
Depth at tight end has been an issue though, so if Hurst misses time the Bengals might have to look outside the team for help.
