The FBI needs to get involved and there needs to be an investigation. The PAT made it way too obvious in my eyes!

From the angle in that video the PAT looks to go over the top of the goal post tip, which I've always been led to believe was "fair." I admit, it's difficult to tell exactly when the ball crosses the post top so I won't stand too firm on that one.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Mon Dec 01, 2025 8:26 amThe FBI needs to get involved and there needs to be an investigation. The full second pause after the play clock expired is unfortunately par for the course nowadays. I've seen it myself many times over the years and I can recall several instances of the announcers discussing it after the snap of the ball. Sadly, it's nothing new.
The PI call however, is complete bullsh*t. He barely touches the WRs arm as he goes by and its obvious to anyone that the WR slips down coming out of his route on his own. The DB played no part in his losing his feet.
Its unfortunate that officiating has become so spotty and unreliable over the years. Its seems to have gone even further downhill just the past 3-4 years or so. You'd think with modern technology and 14 camera angles it would actually improve, but that certainly doesn't seem to be the case, does it?

Not for one second does that look like it goes over the tip of the goal post. I'm sorry I do not agree with you there.

You guys are going go be severely disappointed at the team they've put together this year. Severely disappointed. - Joe Bananas 8/18/2025
Re: NFL News & Notes
Here is the moment the ball crosses the top of the goal post as taken from a TikTok video of the play. I did not freeze the frame at this point, the original poster did.
Now remember, the entire tip of the goal post is considered "inside" meaning the ball has to pass completely outside the top of the goal post to be considered a miss.
The majority of the ball is clearly not outside the top of the goal post...

From the net...
No, a kick does not have to be completely inside the goalpost to be good; it only has to pass through the vertical plane of the goal, meaning between the uprights and over the crossbar. It doesn't have to be physically contained within the posts themselves.
From an MSN article on the game...
'The calling official had the ball above the upright and completely inside the outside edge of the uprights and so he ruled a successful try," Martin said. "Since the ball was above the upright it's not reviewable."

He made the smart choice...
The Silver Bulletin @tSilverBulletin
Brian Hartline tells Chris Henry Jr. “you made the right choice.”
Henry decided to stick with Ohio State, and Hartline still called, even though he won’t coach Henry.
That’s culture.
