Renegade A-Rod: Four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers informed the #Steelers he’ll fly to Pittsburgh on Friday and sign before next week’s minicamp, sources tell The Insiders.
Finally, a done deal: Rodgers, 41, will play his 21st NFL season in black and gold.

From a Tweet I just saw.
"The Steelers signing Aaron Rodgers is like finally getting to bang your high school crush. Except now she's 40 and has 4 children."

CB J Alexander signs with Rats
Awesome. We cant sign our first round pick and the Rats just keep getting better and better.
Let's face it yall. We are going to be a mediocre team. Between failed draft picks and hardly doing anything in FA we're not going to be an elite team. Win 9-10-11 games? Prolly. But we ain't in the 12-14 range. Absolutely no way.
We're gonna be dam lucky to beat or even compete with the likes of Baltimore, KC, Buffalo and others.
But. Mike Brown is stubborn. He's saving money. He's making money. He has 1981 mindset. His kids are rich. So what does he or they care?

I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Re: NFL News & Notes
I've seen predictions of Trey at $130mm before the Watt deal was even discussed so maybe it won't matter. Its stupid money at this point. However, that guaranteed number is probably where Trey's head is at. He knows a 3 year deal is really 2. And he will likely end up with 1 and done.Bengals1 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 17, 2025 6:08 pmThis is not going to help us with Trey....![]()

You guys are going go be severely disappointed at the team they've put together this year. Severely disappointed. - Joe Bananas 8/18/2025
Re: NFL News & Notes
This is great news. Pitt will have a large portion of cap tied up in an old defensive player, money they will not have to improve their team. I would bet a large sum of money that TJ will not be an effective player at age 34. The Bengals were never going to sign Trey to an extension so no impact there and if by small chance they were it will save the Bengals from going into bigger cap hell then they already are going to be in with so much money tied up in a QB and 2 WR.Bengals1 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 17, 2025 6:08 pmThis is not going to help us with Trey....![]()

TJ Watt has exactly zero play-off wins. Not all on him but if team couldn't win play-off game when cap hit was much smaller don't expect any then to win any when he is taking up even more cap space.
