Don’t hate it but man we left every single player I was hoping for. Fare thee well Jacob Rodriguez

The SEC Defensive Player of the Year and a Unanimous All-American, Howell led the SEC with 11 sacks and brings serious burst off the edge, though he lacks prototypical size.
Hey, this guy actually has stats! We won’t have to imagine how he disrupts the offense.

Okay okay that’s yet another change in direction. And bonus he’s not coming off serious injury!Jmble wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2026 8:00 pmThe SEC Defensive Player of the Year and a Unanimous All-American, Howell led the SEC with 11 sacks and brings serious burst off the edge, though he lacks prototypical size.

I have to believe this is our last D-linman.
Its a crowded room now.
Paul Dehner Jr. @pauldehnerjr
Potts says they took calls all day to move both up and down. Says they fielded calls to move back, but compensation wasn't enough to come off Howell.
They didn't think he would make it to them, but things went last night changed that.
"There was an offensive run late in Round 1 that gave us hope," Golden said. "It fell our way."
Yet, Golden added they rehearsed this exact scenario in their mock draft simulation just a few days ago.

Calling it now, if McCoy drops to us in the 3rd we're taking him.

I’d be mad if we didn’t. The risk/reward is well worth it in the third. Even if he does end up missing this year there is no reason he shouldn’t recover.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2026 8:11 pmCalling it now, if McCoy drops to us in the 3rd we're taking him.

I have no problem with McCoy in the third.
But teams must be really leery of that knee. A bunch of CBs have gone before him already.

Not happy about McNeil-Warren going to Cleveland! He's a really really good Safety that has the size to cover TE's!
