I have a feeling we may try and trade back this year in the first round. If it actually happens is a different story but I feel like they can get a guy they want and get an extra pick. I just have that feeling this year.

Yes, that would not surprise me either.

The talent drop from 17 to say, the low 20s is not that great. If it meant we could pick up an additional 3rd rounder I could easily see us doing it.

Pittsburgh is at 21, we don't want to help them get better, but the Chargers and Packers are at 22 & 23 respectively.

Yes. Everyone they have hosted all start at 21 ans drop. They have not hosted anyone in the top 12-15. All are late first rounders and 2nd through 4th rounders.

Ace traded me mid-season to another sports forum for a full time poster, a part-time poster, and a poster to be named later.

Unfortunately, as old age sets in, my carpel tunnel syndrome prevented me from fully fulfilling my end of the deal.

So they released me after the Super Bowl to save cap space. That allowed me the freedom to join another forum of my choice.

So here I am... 8-)

Old age....just admit you forgot your damn password old man!! I'm not welcoming you back until you apologize for your alzheimers episode. Do you have any idea how boring it was around here the last 60 days?? I look forward to offseason bikini pics of Mrs B1 and we didnt even get that this year.
You guys are going go be severely disappointed at the team they've put together this year. Severely disappointed. - Joe Bananas 8/18/2025

20 Josh Simmons
OT | Ohio State

51 TreVeyon Henderson
RB | Ohio State

81 Shemar Turner
DL | Texas A&M

85 Kevin Winston Jr.
S | Penn State

119 Kyle Kennard
EDGE | South Carolina

153 Smael Mondon Jr.
LB | Georgia

193 Cody Simon
LB | Ohio State

197 Logan Brown
OT | Kansas
I know I'm a homer for Ohio State but I really like Josh Simmons, knowing we could have him play guard and then move him out to tackle later. I really like Henderson and his ability to catch and block. I also really like Cody Simon's mobility and ability to cover sideline to sideline.

I just don't see us prioritizing the O-line over the Defense. Not with the 1st pick at any rate.

Let the bickering start early...

It pains me to agree with you on your first day back :D but I would be surprised if first pick isn't a DB or DL.
