Mixon/Moss is questionable, but as a whole our plusses are definitely outweighing our minuses.

Tee Higgins is obviously still a question mark, but at this point I'm pretty happy.

It's already been said, but I like the idea of not needing to focus on one position of desperate need in the first round. We can go with whatever position available makes our team the most better.
I agree 100% with you on Moss however my mind is slowly changing, it will fully change after the season and I see what he does on the field.

I wouldn't be too worried about Higgins he'll play under the tag and I imagine they will probably tag him again next year to get thru this 2 year window they appear to be planning short term.

Vonn Bell officially back. so we got a 6th rounder for losing him, get him back, and carolina is paying almost all his salary

i can't believe this happened FOR the bengals and not TO the bengals
It's great I think our cap hit is only like 1.2 million. Thank you Carolina, I'm sure soP has a nice gift basket for you with a 1/64th size 1992 lumina model in it.

Tom Pelissero @TomPelissero

Veteran DT D.J. Reader has agreed to terms with the #Lions on a two-year deal, sources tell me, @RapSheet
and @MikeGarafolo

Another big addition (this time literally) for the Detroit defense.

Sorry to see him go but at least its the Lions and not some AFC team we'd have contend with for a play-off spot... 8-)

I 100% agree, and I wish him well. The Lions and becoming a destination and it's good to see for that fan base. I hope we see them in the SB and then of course beat them.

Becton visiting tomorrow. Not keen on this one. He is getting shredded in the chats. Not sure his injury history is behind him. 12 sacks, 50 pressures in 2023. Granted the Jets had major QB issues that could have caused some of that.
Rich Cimini @RichCimini

Free-agent LT Mekhi Becton just landed in Cincy to visit with #Bengals, per source. Interesting connection: OL coach Frank Pollack coached Becton his rookie year with the #Jets in 2020. Bengals lost RT Jonah Williams to Arizona. A handful of other teams are interested.

Agreed with everyone here. Disappointed for Reader, but it really looks obvious that the Bengals never really had any intention of keeping him. I'm choosing to believe that they know more about his injury status than we do. Will be interesting to see if they end up with Tart to see how different his contract is than what Reader gets from the Lions.
