Mike McCarthy. Should be interesting to see how an old school veteran like Mike gets along with JJ. I cant imagine a scenario where Jerry doesnt give someone with Mike's tenure an incredibly long leash.

It's interesting to see a team hire a guy known for his big passing offense when you have Zeke on the bench.
I looked this up this morning...
The top rusher on the Packers each year during the McCarthy era averaged 194 rush attempts. That's over 14 years... The first year without McCarthy, Jones had 236 rushing attempts. Elliott last year had 301 rushing attempts.

i thought Lewis would be a great hire.
I thought he did really well here in Cincy, considering it's Cincy.
imagine what he could do with GM that actually wants to win and isnt scared to throw money around....

That's a solid point. I'd like to see what Marvin can do on a real adult NFL team....orange_black wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2020 2:46 pmimagine what he could do with GM that actually wants to win and isnt scared to throw money around....

Per PFT, Marv is named defensive CO-coordinator at Arizona State. Hell, at this rate he'll end up as a consultant for a Pittsburgh area JV team next year.
Oh, side note, Marvin is also keeping tabs on one member of the offense at Arizona State. The young son and emerging star at WR of one of Marvin's former disciples....none other than.....Chad OchoCinco Johnson. Marvin has offered that he thinks Chad's son has more raw talent than Chad did as a rookie. Could be an interesting NFL story line in a couple years.

That's a good fit for him there, the HC is Herm Edwards, and they are doing some really good stuff there. I'm looking for ASU to be a player here in the PAC 5000 soon.stripesincarolina wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 8:09 pmPer PFT, Marv is named defensive CO-coordinator at Arizona State.
