This just came thru on twatter, I find this to be interesting and probably the most fair option for all.Adam Schefter thinks the NFL will not look to resume the Bills vs. Bengals game and that the league is working towards a neutral AFC Championship Game
Re: WEEK 17 Game Thread - Game of the Year Bengals - Bills
Breaking: Rob Maaddi of the Associated Press now reports that the Bills-Bengals game will not continue. This seems to be a precursor to an official announcement, which likely will come today.
The NFL Players Association has scheduled a press briefing for 4:00 p.m. ET, regarding the Damar Hamlin situation.
There is no firm reporting on what the league will do regarding AFC playoff seeding. Various possibilities have been mentioned and discussed. There is no perfect option.

UC Medical Center doctors on a conference call said that last night not only did Hamlin waken, but he was able to follow commands and asked in writing who won the game.

Bengals could get the 2-seed on the 4th tiebreaker (strength of victory) with Buffalo with a win and Bills' loss, potentially.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 8:30 amI wouldn't be against this honestly, at this point it seems like the the most plausible scenario. I thought we had a real shot at the #2 seed probably not #1 but that's ok we travel well.
Re: WEEK 17 Game Thread - Game of the Year Bengals - Bills
This is correct. If Buffalo loses to the Pats and we win, we have the 2 seed and it potentially sets up a second round playoff match against Buffalo in Cincinnati. Would not only be very cool to see this match come back around, but I'd much rather be playing it in Cincinnati than in Buffalo during the month of January.4256 Hits wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 3:42 pmBengals could get the 2-seed on the 4th tiebreaker (strength of victory) with Buffalo with a win and Bills' loss, potentially.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 8:30 amI wouldn't be against this honestly, at this point it seems like the the most plausible scenario.
