Five observations from Day 4 of #Bengals camp....

1. After kicking 5 game-winning field goals at the gun as a rookie, Evan “Shooter” McPherson adds to his growing legend with a 65-yarder to end practice.
So what was his range today?
“If I hit that same ball, maybe 70,” he said.

2. Unfortunately I wasn’t rolling video, but Jackson Carman did a cartwheel during pregame warmups. Pretty impressive for a 6’5”, 325-lb man.
“I feel like I’m in the best shape of my life — as cliché as that might sound,” "Tell your underage daughters to watch out!" said Carman.

3.One of the players I am looking forward to seeing in the preseason is powerfully-built edge rusher Wyatt Hubert who missed his rookie year due to a torn pectoral muscle.
“I can’t wait,” he said. “It’s been a long time since I played a real football game so I’m very excited.

4. I thought the defense was dominant during the red zone period today, whether it was the first or second string.
On this play, rookie free agent Bookie Radley-Hiles avoids a pick and shows great closing speed to make sure that Trent Taylor doesn’t reach the end zone.

5.Joe Mixon is tremendous with fans. When he wasn’t taking part in drills, he roamed the stadium signing autographs and posing for pics.
“That’s just his interaction with everybody he comes across,” said Zac Taylor. “He’s one of the most genuine players I’ve ever been around.”
