Bengal Transactions
Re: Bengal Transactions
I think the articles are correct that the Bengals are interested in Gilmore.
The question is whether they are interested enough to offer the amount of money that would pull him away from a deal with Las Vegas or somewhere else. That's where I think the story starts to fall apart.
If he was willing to take a lesser deal and sign on our terms, I think we'd sign him up right now. That's just not going to happen though. So yeah, the Bengals are interested in Stephon Gilmore, but also, the Bengals aren't going to pay what it takes to get Stephon Gilmore.

I think a lot of this talk comes from the fact that Hilton got involved. That gives the story an interesting twist just like when Burrow got involved in the Collins deal.
But for several different outlets to report on it there had to be some truth to the initial reports.
Love to know where the Raiders are getting all this cap money from....

I just read two whole pages of nothing. Way to go guys. Next I'll be reading a B1 press release about Baker Mayfield being targeted as our next addition to the QB room.

Re: Bengal Transactions
Nor should they. Don't pay big money for a 32 year old CB. Sure if he wants to come for a 1 year deal with an fair base salary and some playing time incentives great.Jmble wrote: ↑Tue Mar 22, 2022 4:03 pmI think the articles are correct that the Bengals are interested in Gilmore.

Gotta' figure he's a camp body. An undrafted player out of Xichigan who couldn't make the Cowboys squad.Zoo wrote: ↑Tue Apr 05, 2022 3:01 pmBengals sign TE Nick Eubanks.

I still think they'll grab a TE somewhere in the draft this year....

Doug Keyed @DougKeyed
The #Bengals re-signed CB Tre Flowers to a one-year, $1.85M contract with $500k guaranteed, deal is worth up to $2.6M with playing time incentives, per sources.
