I know. It always leaves you feeling a little nauseous, doesn't it....? :|
It's like hangovers. The older I get, the longer it takes to really get over it.
Well, hangovers are just a reminder you’re an idiot

Ugh... You guys are talking about Old Meathead, that's when I was young and a complete idiot! I've changed a lot since then...

I would bring Whit back but need to have a quality back-up because the odds of him staying healthy for 17 games is slim to none. But when healthy can still play at a high quality level.

Great article on Whit here

Cool to see how much he and his wife still love Cincinnati and his friendship with Burrow.

The only way I'd bring Whitworth back at this age is if we weren't necessarily counting on him to be the starter.

If we went out and drafted some promising Offensive Lineman in the draft who might end up needing a bit of developing, it would be great to have someone like Whitworth in there to play when needed and help the new guy develop.

I don't think that's what Whit wants though.

Here's PFF's line for how he played this year. He finished as the fourth overall graded Tackle in the NFL.

Overall - 86.1
Pass Blocking - 90.7
Run Blocking - 71.2
Penalties - 6
Sacks Allowed - 5

Not bad for being the oldest man left in the NFL.
this.

despite his age, that man can still play at a very high level.

oh fyi..... our online needs help. and if he wants to come here for possibly another superbowl shot..... he may come on the cheap being as he's already made a ton of $$

Based on the fact on the fact that five years ago. At the age of 34 the Bengals didn't value him as a long-term value. So, you think five years later at the age of 40 thee Bengals are going to change their minds? I don't think so. Even if he is an upgrade and available, the Bengals need to stick to their guns and move on. On the other hand if Whit reaches out to us and accepts a modest salary, go for it.
