Joe Mixon being called week-to-week with low grade ankle sprain. Doesn’t look like the Bengals will have him Sunday vs. the Packers.

Obviously, play him if he's healthy, but I'd much rather see him rest this week and be ready the following week versus a week Lions team.
As much as I hate to say it, I just don't see this team beating the Packers with or without Mixon. I hope I'm wrong and I will gladly eat my words if we manage to pull the game out, but I want to be healthy going into another game that should be won. As great as a win against Green Bay would be, I'd feel pretty good about this team if they lose to the Packers and then beat the Lions and end up at 4-2. We can realistically get to 8 wins and if we can manage an upset or two we could be looking at a potential Wild Card.
At 3-1, we have The Lions, Jets, Steelers, 49ers, and Broncos as very possible wins. The Raiders can go either way. The Packers, Chiefs, and Chargers feel like losses.
Then you have two against Baltimore and two against Cleveland. You manage one or two against them and suddenly you are a potential playoff team.
I still think we fall short, but the fact that I'm looking after week 4 at a first place team and can at least see a path towards the playoffs feels pretty damn good right now.

Fine, get Evans rolling with a James Brooks breakout game. Give JB another highly mobile target.

Having a D-line that isn't decimated by injury makes a huge difference.Bengals1 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 9:44 amAndrew Russell (@PFF_AndrewR)
Linebackers and boy I am excited to type this one out:
Logan Wilson: 8th overall
Germaine Pratt: 16th overall
Davis-Gaither: 20th overall
The Cincinnati Bengals have 3 LBs in the top-25 highest graded in the NFL.
LB room rank in 2020: 29th
LB room rank in 2021: 3rd
I have a lot of hope for this defense, if we didn't lose Ossi I think we'd have a crazy dangerous defense.

Former Bengals OL Michael Jordan waived by the Carolina Panthers.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Was all ready to make a joke about him being the reason Christian McCaffrey got injured, but it turns out he hasn't played a down all year.Joe Bananas wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 9:15 pmFormer Bengals OL Michael Jordan waived by the Carolina Panthers.
