Re: Draft Day!
I won't argue with those picks however the depth at WR isn't nearly as deep as OT, and the drop off at WR is much greater. That's why Chase was the pick, over Swallows.4256 Hits wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 9:28 pmPartial proved my point Erickson was an UDFA when was last time Bengals UDFA OL be that productive.Joe Bananas wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 9:18 pmYeah a 3rd or 4th WR like Erickson but you can't Draft a Chase in 7th round.
Higgens 2nd round.
Boyd 2nd round.
Sanu 3rd round.
Jones 5th round.
Johnson 2nd round.

All the depth at OL doesn't matter if it is gone by pick 38.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 9:31 pmI won't argue with those picks however the depth at WR isn't nearly as deep as OT, and the drop off at WR is much greater. Bingo. You already loaded the bases. Trade up to a late first rounder and hit a grand slam.4256 Hits wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 9:33 pmAll the depth at OL doesn't matter if it is gone by pick 38.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 9:31 pmI won't argue with those picks however the depth at WR isn't nearly as deep as OT, and the drop off at WR is much greater. Re: Draft Day!
Since there's only been 1 OL pick I wouldn't be so sure they will all be gone. There's a lot of very good Tackles in this draft. I wouldn't be surprised if we're actually targeting the Tackle out of "that team up north". He's a very big body and smart player.4256 Hits wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 9:33 pmAll the depth at OL doesn't matter if it is gone by pick 38.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 9:31 pmI won't argue with those picks however the depth at WR isn't nearly as deep as OT, and the drop off at WR is much greater. I'd like to point out Andrew Whitworth was a second round pick in 2006!4256 Hits wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 9:33 pmAll the depth at OL doesn't matter if it is gone by pick 38.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 9:31 pmI won't argue with those picks however the depth at WR isn't nearly as deep as OT, and the drop off at WR is much greater. If I'm not mistaken they told Andy he would be their starter. What a kick in the nuts.
