Re: Draft Day!
Read a recent report that multiple scouts thought or think that Sewell is over rated. Did you guys read that? Can't remember where it was.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

I saw the same thing. I’d still have happily taken him but I’m also happy with Chase. I’ve always thought as long as the O Line is handled in the first or second I could live with either.

Re: Draft Day!
I dont know about over rated, but as the ESPN crew just discussed, he has a thin body of work to rate him on. But he could very easily develop into one of the best.
That said, how do we trade back into the late first round to make sure we get a top tackle? I'm really nervous at 38.

Don't like it. SO much easier to find a WR later in the draft than a high end T.

Yeah, same. It was either one for me and I would have been happy. But really wanted Chase. Hopefully he can be a huge playmaker

Yeah a 3rd or 4th WR like Erickson but you can't Draft a Chase in 7th round.

Re: Draft Day!
We took a OT from Oregon not too long ago then ended up with some kind of heart problem, seems like he grew a slip between his legs and was out of the NFL a few years later. Not comparing just doing what B1 normally does...Joe Bananas wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 9:09 pmRead a recent report that multiple scouts thought or think that Sewell is over rated. Hmmmmmmm......
Penile Swallow goes to the Lions and ends up a perennial Pro Bowler and a first ballot Hall of Famer. The Bengals wind up with the second pick in the 2022 draft.....and select a Linebacker out of Western Hawaii. Mag smiles.
