2021 draft prediction thread

Post by skycruiser » Sat Apr 24, 2021 12:21 pm

It’s draft week! Who ya pimpin?

What I want them to do: Chase

What they will do: Chase
Round 2-3 OL
Round 4-7 DE, RB K, TE

What I hope they don’t do: trade back and miss chase, penile, or pitts

What says you?

Draft week;

First round pimp'n; Chase

Second round; Hoping a guys like Leatherwood, or Teven Jenkins falls and picking up quality O-linemen.
Third round; Looking for quality Guards like Davis out of OSU for some reason he's been dropping but has been considered 1st round talent.

Later rounds I'm looking for quality SP players, guys that fit in rolls. Maybe a small college LB or two just to hear B1 complain a bit more, you know the usual stuff.

Who I want them to take: Swallow. I prefer quality over quantity. Penile is being touted as a once in a generation talent. Chase will no doubt be a good NFL quality starting WR but Swallow could hold down the LT spot for the next 12 years or more. Bengals with Munoz= two Super Bowl appearances. Bengals with AJ Green = no playoff wins.

Who they will take: Chase. Marvin said it best in that interview in the Athletic, SoP falls in love with the Ferraris of the league.

As for the rest of the draft, assuming they tap Chase at #5, Peckerwood or some other O-linemen in the second and an edge rusher in the third. Then a RB and Kicker at some point.

I can live with it....

Should do : Sewell
What we think SoP will do: Chase
What SoP will do: The opposite. Whatever that is. Its just too simple this year and he'll screw it up somehow.

At least we wont have to wait long to start drinking.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he falls in love with Pitts

Sewell, among other top prospects, says he is attending the draft virtually. There are more than 45 top prospects attending virtually according to PFT. This coverage is gonna suck again.

I actually enjoyed last year’s draft. It was different and fun. I think this year is going to be more of a combination of the old way and last year.

Yes this week is draft week but more importantly to me this is Baby due week for us. April 27th is her due date but Doc thinks it's going to go over. I'll be in the hospital with my laptop working and watching the draft if I can haha...
