If the Jets stick where they are and go QB, we are certainly going to have either Sewell or Chase sitting at 5. We just moved one step closer to the reality of a possible QB,QB,QB,QB draft ahead of us.

Does this mean the Niners send Jimmy G back to New England...?

The Dolphins have just traded back up to number 6 with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Eagles traded their sixth to the Dolphins for No. 12 and their 2022 first-round pick. Teams also swapped mid-round picks -- Eagles' pick 156 for No. 123.

this is wild...i started ignoring twitter because FA has come to grinding halt and all of the sudden the entire top of the draft has changed. so awesome.

we're in an incredible position of strength now. in reality we should have our pick of the non-QB's. We could also be in a strong position to move back a few spots and still get sewell/chase/pitts/slater while picking up a min of a 2 this year

I'm not sure I agree that anyone will give us a 2nd rounder to move up to #5. Only if one of the QBs is still there which is unlikely given the current order.

The teams right behind us at 6,7&8 will almost certainly be thinking we'll take Penile so the top WRs or Pitts will still be there for them.

I just don't see any of those teams willing to give up a 2nd rounder just to leap-frog one another for Chase or Pitts etc...

But that being said.... there's still a long way to go till draft day.

Wow!!!!

You bet the Niners are going QB at #3. Not sure how I'd feel seeing Fields, a former Buckeye playing in Frisco.... 8-)
Falcons will too. Not many qbs in this draft that can come in and start right a way. They have an aging QB they been rumblings about replacing for a year and a half now in Ryan. So if they gonna do it nows the time. I forsee the first 4 picks all being QBs. Which will leave us 3 to 4 future all pros (projecting to be anyways) to us. Sewell, Chase, Pitts, etc.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

He'll change his mind the first time he gets thrown to the ground by some 320lb defensive lineman. But by then it'll be too late.

Exactly can't complete passes from the golf cart that is taking him off the field.

I disagree, from what we saw out of Joe last year he likes getting hit, he's likes that aspect of the game. Maybe in a few years it's not going to be something but as of right now I see him pushing for Chase. I am one that agrees with him too, I'd like to see Chase over Swallows, it's a deep Tackle draft we can get a good one in the second.
