2021 Free Agency
Re: 2021 Free Agency
The Bears have signed Andy Dalton to a one year 10 million dollar deal with the chance to earn another 3 mil in incentives.
Get ready for an Andy Dalton / Nick Foles QB battle in Chicago this year.

I know and no, too me that was outlandish price. I'm still hoping they bring in 2 or 3 other players. Oline. Maybe a wr, safety or LB. Would love a tight end too but not sure who's all available.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 5:03 pmI get that, but at the same time did you expect them to spend 80 million on Thuney? I'm sure they sent a very reasonable offer to him the chief's just beat us. However the hysteria over not signing any O-linemen yet is just a bit over played at this point. Still lots of time to go in this offseason.Joe Bananas wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 4:55 pmI just don't like how they haven't taken care of their elite franchise qb like the chargers have. It doesn't sit well with me knowing we have the exact same oline now as to the one where Joe was murdered last year. Until they do that it has been not a very good 2 days imoMeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 4:52 pmOk so far we've signed 2 CB's and a DE equal to what we've lost.
Like B1 said love the Hilton signing, anything that weakens the squeelers we all like.
Trey Hendrickson looks like just a replacement but if he does as well as he did last year we've got a very good player.
Chidobe Awuzie if this dude can stay healthy we've got a pretty good player.
So I know everyone wanted to see O-line signing on day 1 and day 2, we all know we need to, but you have to give them some credit they aren't sitting on their hands they are putting offers in front of guys.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Sure, and from what I've seen we're still in the mix for TE Gerald Everett, and there's still some O-linemen out there. It's only day 2, we'll see how it all plays out, if it was June I'd be with you but it's still very early. My point is they made 2 signings on day one, they've made 1 today, when was the last time we've seen that much movement on day 1?Joe Bananas wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 5:11 pmI know and no, too me that was outlandish price. On the flip side of the O-linemen coin is that I don't believe any signed today. That means whoever was available this morning is still available tonight....or tomorrow probably.
According to numerous sources the Bengals have made offers to a couple of O-linemen, they just haven't bitten....yet.
But apparently, unless I've missed something, they haven't signed with anyone else either. So maybe once these annonomous Linemen realize nobody else is going to break the bank for them they'll dust off the offer the Bengals made them on Monday and sign on the bottom line...

Crazy to see Andy fall so far so fast. Glad he made some money last year before getting his head knocked off. He'll be retiring way early it appears.

I personally hope we sign him for a 1 day deal so he can retire as a Bengal, but this Franchise doesn't do things like that.stripesincarolina wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 6:27 pmCrazy to see Andy fall so far so fast.
