Well this kind of solves what we’re going to do at #5
If we get Sewell, how will his year go after sitting out all last year. And at 6'3 300 I'm not sold AT ALLLLL on Slater. Sorry but his size absolutely suckkkkkkks! He will get mauled playing tackle in this division.
About as well as Cedric objehi did after sitting out a year?

Lets face it guys, signing Thuney was always a long-shot for a discount franchise like the Bengals.

And lets be honest here, if you were Thuney who'd you rather play for? The Chiefs who might play in the Super Bowl next year or the Bengals, who might play in one in the next decade...?

Besides, we always have Meat to play on our O-line.... ;)

The Zeitler deal does perplex me a bit however. The deal he signed is nothing special, the Bengals could easily have given it to him also. Plus, we're desperate for an upgrade at the exact position he plays and we felt good enough about him coming out of college that we made him a 1st round pick.

He must not have wanted another go-round in Cincinnati or he'd just had his fill of SoP and Co.

I mean I get it. Was alot of money but Tobin is the one getting our hopes up by saying they're going to be aggressive in free agency and will not sit on their hands.

Now Hobson saying on sports illustrated site that the Bengals outta 40 plus million in free agency really only has 15 to 20 due to rookies, injuries buyouts etc lol. I mean FCKING really?? 43 mil to 15 million in actual money? We couldn't sign a 3rd string back up full back for that, forgot about anyone else for christ's sake!!!!

And being aggressive in free agency?? We weren't even aggressive with our own fcking players in free agency!!!

If you listen to Hobson, if it costs this team 25 dollars to shit then they'd have to puke cause they broke.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

Two notes from NFL Rumors who have been pretty on the money so far.

The #Bengals are now showing interest in Hendrickson as well #NFLFreeAgency

We look for best choice for TE Gearld Everett left would be #Bengals #Bills and #Seahawks

Trey Hendrickson is 26 years old. Plays at the Edge and had 14 sacks last season for the Saints.

Overrall PFF grade was a 72.1. 78.0 on pass rush but only 54.8 on Run defense.

Everett is a guy who has shown flashes of talent at Tight End.

He had an average year in 2020, but so did the rest of the Rams offense.

He had very solid years in 2018 and 2019

Other teams apparently don't have to pay rookies and have injury buyouts.

I've just never been a fan of Hobsons. Ever. He's the main reason I haven't visited the Bengals site in prolly over 5 years now.

Joe, Hobslob said the exact same thing last year....and the team promptly went out and spent $120 million on free agents.

So yeah, I think you can disregard anything Hobslob says right off the bat.

ZIM (@zimwhodey)
Bro you remember last year started off just like this @NewStripeCity ... dejavu. 5 hours later here we are again. Me talking everyone off a cliff. Then $131 mil later it was #whodey
