I really hope that they bring on a former NFL head coach to the staff. If Zak is going to stay need someone to help him not be so far over his head.

Bye bye Lou Doo and hopefully that fck from the offensive line coach.

Agree that Zac needs to surround himself with NFL Experience and not anymore of these 22 year old assistant to the assistant special team punting coaches.
I was crazy back when being crazy really meant something.

This will only help. Hopefully simmer gets fired, they bring him in as DC and then have him waiting in the wings if they need to fire Zach

But it’ll prolly be paul guenther and jay gruden...

This doesn't surprise me one bit, and I think everyone on this board would agree there are 2 for sure coaching positions that need to be flipped. DC and OL coach.

I think Taylor is a pretty good coach but his supporting staff is a serious problem and he recognizes that.

Hopefully he gets help picking coaches. His pick for DC before Anarumo gave up over 600 yards of offense in his bowl game.

The best thing that could happen would be for him to hire its father-in-law to be OL coach. Mike Sherman was a very good OL coach in the day, and a decent HC during his time in GB. He's currently unemployed. He should be an improvement upon Turner and will be an experienced mentor to Zac and his staff.

"Offensive line coach Jim Turner, defensive line coach Nick Eason and defensive assistant Gerald Chatman have all been told that they will not be retained, per multiple team sources."

There will be more changes but some haven’t been discussed yet so this is only the beginning.

I think the DC is gone, I really don't believe you replace that many staff members on that side of the ball without letting the top guy go.
