That was one of the destinations most often mentioned. It's a good deal for Andy. If he gets them to double-digit wins he'll undoubtedly be rewarded with a long term contract.MeatHeadbengal wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 9:40 pmAndy Dalton to the Cowboys

Well now our next objective needs to be finding a back up QB with some experience. Whose out there and who are cut candidates?
Re: Bengals Related News & Notes
They spent a draft pick last year on Ryan Finley. When they put him in he wasn't terrible. He just wasn't a significant upgrade over Dalton. Also he's been with the team now a full year now and knows the system.Mr. Oblivious wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 6:12 pmWell now our next objective needs to be finding a back up QB with some experience. My guess is "if" they add another QB as a back-up they scour the waiver wire in the last week after final cuts and pick-up a cheap veteran.

Wrong...He completed just 47.1% of his passes for 5.4/attempt and a QBR of 62.1 all while turning the ball over 5 times and being sacked 11 times (that is not all his fault the OL sucked). The only way that doesn't quality as terrible is if you are comparing him to Akili Smith.Bengals1 wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 6:27 pmThey spent a draft pick last year on Ryan Finley. There is a good chance he will be better in his 2nd season but still would like to have a veteran QB around to help out Burrow even if it means keeping 3 QB's.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/289 ... wboys-moreCincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green said he's been in contact with rookie quarterback Joe Burrow, the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft, and is excited to link up when the circumstances allow it amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Green discussed his conversations with Burrow in an interview with Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official website released Friday.
"We've been talking back and forth. We were talking yesterday and I know he wants to get together and throw somewhere," he said. "I told him wherever he is, we'll come to him. I don't know where, when, how. It's all who can fly where and when. He's the quarterback. He makes his location and we have to get there."
